Where did you have your best vacation?  Was it a family vacation or just you and someone special?  Or do you think it is still to come?

Tubing down the Colorado river with my family.  It was great.  We camped out and just relaxed.

Fishing at Vancovern island was great. We stayed there for a week and lived at oceanside.

Sometimes just staying at home, and playing games together as a family, can be a good vacation.

We've had great vacations in Florida, renting a condo for a week at the Indian Shores area.

A couple times we had my wife's parents with us, too.

My sister was in the Navy and stationed at Pearl and I went to visit her for two weeks.  I was 15 and it was my first plane ride and the first time completely away from my parents.  You want to talk about fun!

I'm planning to have another one late this year if that pushes through---somewhere where the beaches beckon.

I need one too, somewhere in the Bahamas where the air is both spicy and sweet.

My best vacation would be my gambling trip at Atlantic City, New Jersey. I stayed at one of them hotels on by the boardwalk, "the tropicana." Very nice hotel and casino, lots of them on the boardwalk.

Maybe I should gamble, Vegas or Atlantic city. I say that Atlantic City would be a nice place to stay. I like a room with a view, a view of the ocean.

We just got back from Cuba and it was beautiful! The beaches there are the best I have ever seen... the water is so clear and the sand feels like flour between your toes.

I thought Cuba was off limits to Americans?

I'm Canadian. I believe Americans can travel there though, you just can't fly directly from the U.S. to Cuba (meaning you'd have to fly to Canada first then take a direct flight to Cuba). There is also restrictions on what Americans can buy there as well.  Hotel and food etc. are okay but buying things like publications, souvenirs, and of course Cuban cigars is illegal.
