Rumors have been circulating since yesterday that Misty May Treanor volleyball champ and Olympic gold medalist sustained some type of ankle injury while practicing her routine for Dancing with the Stars with partner Maks Chmerkovskiy on Friday. Reality TV reports that ABC has confirmed the injury but has remained tight-lipped as to whether Misty will be forced to leave the show or not due to that injury. Earlier reports surfaced claiming that May-Treanor broke her ankle so the real details remain sketchy at best. Read here for what Access Hollywood has to say.
The bottom line here is that we may not know until Monday whether Misty is in or out because the common thread in most reports claims that she will be evaluated on Monday.
