The following rules apply to this game:
- This game uses "Staggered Deadlines" for which each selection has its own deadline. For your convenience, all selections can be made at the same time with the option to change as often as you wish prior to each deadline. No one can see your selections prior to each deadline. Your selection will be revealed to all players as each deadline passes.
- After each deadline, no other changes can be made. The Game Manager will not be able to change or add picks for you after a deadline has passed.
- If you fail to meet the first deadline, the system will automatically remove you from the Game.
- If you miss the second or third Staggered deadline, you are not eliminated from the Game.
- If you miss the second deadline when Staggered Deadlines are used, the system will assign No Pick. The Ranking Score assigned is equal to the highest value with the game.
- If the third deadline is missed, the system will automatically assign the second selection for the third selection also. If the second selection was a No Pick, the system will assign the first selection for the third selection.
Following is the Scoring System that will be used for ranking.
The score for each Candidate is added together to determine each players Combined Ranking Score.
This is used in certain tie breakers.
The lower the number, the better the rank.
This game will only include the Democratic and Republican candidates. They are only added if they have officially declared to run. If a candidate leaves one of these parties and continues to run, they are still eliminated from the game.
Unlike other Last 2 Left Games, scoring may change throughout the game as candidates step down and as others enter late.
Scoring will be as follows:
President
Scoring = 0
One possible outcome
Loser of Presidential Election
Scoring = 2
One possible outcome
All other candidates will be assigned a score in the order they withdraw from the election. The earlier they withdraw, the higher the score they will earn. The lower the score the better.
If you forget to make a second pick, you will be assigned the No Pick entry. The score for the No Pick designation will be equivalent to the highest score assigned to a candidate of either party. This too can change as additional candidates enter the race.
